This Circular announces the names of Public Officers who were successfully completed the Clerical Promotional Examination held on 24th November, 2010.

The names of Officers gaining the top three (3) positions in accumulated averages are highlighted; all other officers are listed according to rank

The Ministry of the Public Service, Governance Improvement Elections & Boundaries and Sports offers its congratulations to the successful candidates and encourages them to apply all the knowledge and skills acquired in the performance of their duties. A certificate will be issued under separate cover, in recognition of their participation and successful completion of the programme.

Statistically, these results show that eighty-eight percent (88%) of the Officers attempting the examinations were successful.

An officer, who successfully completed the Clerical Promotional Examination becomes eligible for promotion to a post of First Class Clerk. Promotion will be on the basis of the promotion criteria set out in the Public Service Regulations.

The Chief Executive Officers and the Heads of Department are asked to note that an Officer, who is successful in the Clerical Promotional Examination is eligible for one (1) additional increment. This award is based on a satisfactory rating of the officer’s performance appraisal.

The authority for awarding this additional increment is the Chief Executive Officer, Ministry of the Public Service, Governance Improvement, Elections & Boundaries and Sports.
